Chemical Process Control: CPC 6
Paper Format
The proceedings for CPC 6 will be typeset using LaTeX2e and
published by CACHE Corporation.
A LaTeX document class is available for formatting CPC 6 papers from
ftp://ftp.che.wisc.edu/pub/cpc-6/.
The FTP site contains the following files:
- cpc-6.cls
- LaTeX class for formatting cpc-6 papers.
- cpc-6.bst
- The cpc-6 bibliography style, for use with BibTeX.
- cpc-6.tex
- A short paper describing the cpc-6 document class that also serves
as an example document for using the class.
- cpc-6.bib
- A BibTeX database for use with the cpc-6.tex.
- cpc-6.dvi
- A formatted version of cpc-6.tex in TeX DVI format.
- cpc-6.ps
- A formatted version of cpc-6.tex in PostScript format.
- cpc-6.pdf
- A formatted version of cpc-6.tex in Adobe PDF format.
- natbib.sty
- The Natbib package which provides the citation commands used by
the cpc-6 document class. Your LaTeX installation may already include
this file. If so, you probably don't need this copy.
- bibextract
- A perl script that may be useful for extracting only those bib
entries cited in the given LaTeX .aux file from a large BibTeX
database.
Submissions for the meeting preprint and final published proceedings
will require:
- All LaTeX source files.
- A BibTeX file containing all the sources cited in your paper.
(Please do use BibTeX, as it will make it much easier for the editor
to produce consistently formatted reference lists in the final
proceedings!)
- All figures used in your document. Preferred formats include
PostScript (Encapsulated or otherwise), TeX graphics, or mixtures of
the two, such as can be produced by gnuplot (pstex and pslatex
drivers) and xfig. If you use other file formats for figures, please
contact jwe@bevo.che.wisc.edu.
- A PostScript or PDF file of your complete document, including the
figures, so that the editors can see what you expect your paper to
look like when it is printed.
Paper submissions should be sent to
cpc-6-submit@bevo.che.wisc.edu.
Poster Presentation
Poster presentation will take place in the pavilion area during the
poster session on Thursday afternoon from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Each
presenter is requested to mount their poster on Tuesday evening in
order to give the attendees a chance to review the posters before the
session.
Each poster will be mounted on a fabric board contained within a frame
on legs. The dimensions of the board are 4 feet high by 8 feet
wide (approximately 1.2 meters high by 2.4 meters wide).
The boards will be arranged in the display area prior to Tuesday
evening and each will contain the title and author list for the
corresponding poster. We request that each presenter mount their
poster on the board designated for their submission. Push pins will
be available on-site to mount the poster material.
Due to the size of the mounting board and space limitations, we
request that each poster not exceed the dimensions of the mounting
board, which is 4 feet high by 8 feet wide (approximately 1.2 meters
high by 2.4 meters wide).
