This program involves close interactions with the refining, chemical, and pulp & paper industries. Under this program, a number of Invensys Postdoctoral Fellow positions will be staffed. The general research areas of interest within ASAM include: (i) alarm management, (ii) fault diagnosis, (iii) intelligent instrumentation, (iv) process monitoring, and (v) advanced computer software architectures. Candidates should have a Ph.D. Degree in Chemical Engineering with experience or extensive exposure to process monitoring, fault diagnosis, and/or process instrumentation. Strong oral and written communication skills are a requisite. Experience with ASAM systems is not required, but is desirable. The University of Delaware offers competitive salary and benefits.
