The formulations can be motivated by the need to address more general control problems such as those posed by hybrid, semibatch, distributed parameter, or batch processes. Alternatively, formulations can be motivated by the need to address additional objectives such as robustness to model uncertainty or improving closed loop performance. Applications to laboratory or industrial processes are encouraged. E-mail a 1000+ word abstract and a completed manuscript submission form to the session chair and co-chair by August 15th, 2000. Review criteria include: significance of the problem, novelty, clarity, completeness, and accuracy. Note: Preferred abstract formats are latex (highest preference), ascii, PostScript (PS), and PDF. Please make sure that your PS and PDF files include all fonts. Further information concerning the 2001 American Control Conference can be found at http://acc2001.che.ufl.edu/.
