Theoretical and Experimental contributions are sought in the general area of process monitoring and control with application to polymer and composites processing systems. Suitable areas include: process modeling and identification, measurement technology, estimation, batch process control, distributed parameter dynamical systems, dynamic optimization and scheduling. Submit a 1000 word extended abstract to both session organizers via e-mail by August 25, 2000. In addition to paper title and the names and addresses of the authors, the abstract should contain sufficient detail for the paper including the motivation, the approach and the main results. The authors will be notified regarding the final decision by Sept. 15, 2000.
