Areas of interest include, but are not limited to: nonlinear control, state and parameter estimation, process monitoring, fault detection and estimation, data reconcilliation, and scheduling. While the area is open, the paper should emphasize a new technique and/or implementation. Priority will be given to novel approaches developed specifically for batch, semi-continuous, and/or periodic processes. Submission Details: The following information is required on or before August 21, 2000: 1) Full contact information (postal address, phone, fax, and e-mail) and professional affliations for all authors. 2) An extended summary of approximately 1000 words that provides a detailed description of the work to be presented.
