For colleagues within control please note that the time slot has been planned such that it for most people should be feasible to participate in ESCAPE 11 in Denmark on the way to DYCOPS in Korea. Looking forward to seeing you at ESCAPE 11 next year. CALL for Papers: Invitation Welcome to ESCAPE-11 to be held in Kolding, Denmark at the Scanticon Conference Center, May 27-30 2001. ESCAPE Series The ESCAPE series constitutes a major event in the area of CAPE with over 200 participants from more than 50 countries. The series serve as a forum for bringing scientists, researchers, managers, engineers, and students from academia and industry, which are interested in CAPE, together. Deadlines Preliminary announcement November 1999 First call for papers March 2000 Second call for papers May 2000 Submission of abstracts July 31st, 2000 Notification of acceptance September 15', 2000 Submission of manuscripts November 1st, 2000 ESCAPE-11 registration November 2000 Submission of final papers January 31st, 2001 ESCAPE-11 final program March 2001 Conference Proceedings Reviewed manuscripts will be published by Elsevier as a volume in the series Computer Aided Chemical Engineering. Authors will be required to submit papers for the volume in camera-ready form following a publisher specified template. The proceedings volume will be distributed to conference participants at the conference site and will be available to individuals and libraries after the conference through the usual distribution channels of the publisher. A selected set of papers will be published in a special volume of Computers and Chemical Engineering. The plan is to include a large percentage of papers satisfying the journal requirements in the special issue. Therefore, authors are encouraged to submit their original work and results.
