The value of computational chemistry for industrial research, development, and design is only now being recognized. The development of faster, more efficient algorithms and the continued improvement in computational power is making it possible to solve an ever wider range of problems with the methods of computational chemistry. We seek contributions demonstrating the application of computational chemistry to process or product design and development. Papers including applications, algorithms, and process and product models are encouraged. Deadline for PTP and one-page abstract submission: May 1, 2000. Session chairs: Karl Johnson Claire Adjiman Area 1a representative Area 10a representative University of Pittsburgh Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine Department of Chemical Engineering Centre for Process Systems Engineering 1249 Benedum Hall Prince Consort Road Pittsburgh, PA 15261 USA London, SW7 2BY - UK Tel: 412-624-5644 Tel: +44 20 7594 6638 Fax: 412-624-9639 Fax: +44 20 7594 6606 E-Mail: karlj@pitt.edu Email: c.adjiman@ic.ac.uk The link to the 2000 Annual meeting is http://www.aiche.org/annual/ The link to this Call for Papers is http://www.aiche.org/annualapp/previewmodule/SessionDetail.asp?SessionCode=1 0a07
