It can estimate the vapor pressure and boiling point of a mixture containing up to 6 components. It can simulate a simple batch distillation/solvent replacement operation. Either UNIFAC or NRTL thermodynamics may be used. Calculation results are captured by Microsoft Excel 97. An Excel database of commonly used chemicals/solvents is included. A full description with screen shots is available at http://www.net-link.net/~wdkovats Special requirements: Windows 95, Microsoft Excel 97 and the Visual Basic 4 Runtime Library (VB40032.dll) VLECalc is fully functional and is free for non-commercial and educational use. A license fee ($100, US) is required for commercial use. Best Regards Bill Kovats (Ch.E. Ph.D. UWisc-Madison 1984)
